A Two-fer

Today was "Old Fashion Day" at school. Here are the finished products:



And here's a bonus....Kelley's been making fun of me for years because when Kelsey was a baby I would write down whenever she had a bottle and how much of the bottle she drank. Now we're talking when Kelsey was about 0-3 months. This is a photo of Kelley's kitchen cabinet YESTERDAY! Who in the hell is so "organized" (AKA "anal") that they have to label their boxes of markers? A dork, that's who.

It's seems like I only take pictures of Lindsey. This is an "artsy" one of her (sort of accidental). She insisted she wasn't tired on the way home from Kelley's house, she needed a snack, she wanted to stay up and play, she didn't want to got to bed, etc. About 5 minutes after we got home she was "eating her snack" like this:

A rare moment....

Harry willingly snuggling with Lindsey. And by "willingly" I mean she wasn't laying on top of him and he wasn't hissing at/biting her. Since Lindsey turned about one Harry hasn't been a big fan of kids (except Kelsey). Can't say I blame him.

...but needing a bath. The "Bath Blizzard" Santa brought works well!

Poor Lindsey has a 101.7 fever and a sore belly. One round of throw up so far and hopefully that's it.

My "homework"

This week is Catholic Schools Week and tomorrow is the day that Grade 1 and Grade 3 are asked to bring in a breakfast food for the teachers for Teacher Appreciation. I always take things literally so when I saw "home baked" I decided to actually bake something rather than run over to the bakery. So here's my first attempt at "Sour Cream Coffee Cake".

Calgon....

Tonight we were on a mission to find Lindsey's missing shoe. We still haven't found it but we found many other things we didn't even know were lost. Take the picture below for instance....see the white stuffing that inside of my couch? About 15 minutes before that picture was taken all of the stuffing was on the floor behind my couch. Lindsey "found" it in the hole in my couch (that I didn't know existed) and felt it necessary to put on the floor behind the couch. Whatev.

She asked me how the hole got there so I'm not blaming her for that (yet). It's on the seam so I'll just assume it was a defect. I'm not thrilled since I've only had the couch for 6 weeks but I already called the warranty company. Their "24 claims line" told me to call back when they are open at 8:30 tomorrow. Whatev.

Mmmmm....

I didn't realize how bad my eyes were until I put on my new glasses today. I can't believe how much bigger letters appear. My computer monitor seems humongous now!

Well, it wasn't much but the girls could not wait to go outside to make snowballs!

Lindsey made it! Seven days in a row of keeping her hands to herself. So we ventured off to the Disney Store for her prize. Of course, Kelsey immediately asked if she could get one too. I explained that she couldn't because it wouldn't be fair, blah, blah, blah. When Lindsey got upset and insisted that she wanted Kelsey to have one too so they could be "like sisters", I caved.

Harry would be pissed if he knew Gray was cozying up to Leo. And Adam would probably be pissed if he knew that Leo was cozying up to Gray. Yeah, it's blurry...get over it.
